The International Zinc Association (IZA) has agreed that the the metal should only be used in a sustainable way, following its annual general meeting (AGM) in London, October 25. This self-declared "sustain-ability charter" proposes that the IZA should "work to enhance zinc's contribution to society and to ensure that its production and use are in harmony with the natural environment and the needs of society now and in the future".
