If no reflection tables are available, the interreflection should be calculated according to Lambert's Law and the inverse square law.If bi-directional reflection tables for the road surface and the walls are available, the calculation of interreflection can be carried out based on these tables. Because of calculation complexity, different software procedures have been developed to simplify the problem. At present no standard procedures are recommended, therefore no description of this procedure is given in this report. "The diffuse reflection factors of the surfaces should be evaluated by field measurements if possible. If measurement is not possible, values should be chosen from known measured values of similar surfaces.
