I very much enjoyed the opportunity to review the abovenpublication. The quality of both its clinical and technicalncontent greatly reflects the considerable experience of itsnauthors and, in particular, that of Roger Sanders who isnrecognized as one of the pioneers of medical ultrasound.nThe concept of ‘electronic text’ offering the possibility of anCD presentation or conventional book style is shown tonwork very well in this case. I found the digital format allow-ning easy cross reference and more effective combined use ofntext with ultrasound images extremely beneficial. The accessnit gives to video clips supported by audio commentary is ofnobvious value.
