The aim of this study was to investigate a number of issues involving UK shoulder surgeons’ use of ultrasound. We surveyednmembers of the British Elbow and Shoulder Society by inviting them to complete a questionnaire. Data collected included thenincidence of the use of shoulder ultrasound in clinic, indications for ultrasound, the experience and training undertaken bynthose performing the scan, and source of funding for equipment.
