Duke's Root Control uses Razorooter II, the only diquat-based herbicide registered by the U.S. EPA for controlling nuisance tree roots in sewers. Our professional crews insert a hose from manhole to manhole, then fill the affected sewer pipe with Razorooter II. The foam compresses against pipe surfaces, penetrating cracks, joints and connecting sewers. Roots are killed on contact, decay naturally and slough away. Duke's applications are guaranteed to prevent root-related stoppages for 2-3 years.
