John S. Gabrielse, 91, of Lynden, WA, died on Sept. 6. In 1942, Gabriesle, along with his father, Jacob, and brothers, George and Edwin, founded Gabe's Construction Company. A long time regular member of the Pipe; Line Contractors Association, the company is now operated by his son, Tim, who serves as president and chief executive officer. A World War II veteran, Gabriesle is survived by his wife, Ella; daughter Sharon (Ben) Sno-eyink; daughter Phyllis (Jim) Kramer; sons Tim (Kris) and Greg (Cheri); 11 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
