Despite a slow economy and devastating winter storms, NASSCO (National Association of Sewer Service Companies) still attracted a near-record crowd for its 34th annual convention at Don Shula's Hotel and Golf Club in Miami Lakes, FL, Feb. 10 -13.rnAs is typical of NASSCO conventions, there was an aggressive slate of general sessions and committee meetings to address the many programs and projects the association has grown to encompass in recent years. In addition, technical panel presentations included: New Developments in Robotic Camera/Cutting Systems, Underwater Inspection of Pipelines Using Sonar Technology and GPS/GIS Technology and their Application in Asset Management.
