SBG Systems has debuted its new line of inertial navigation systems (INS), the Quanta UAV Series, dedicated to drone-based surveying integrators. Developed for compact lidar to high-end, beyond visual line of sight mapping platforms, Quanta UAV and Quanta UAV Extra both provide precise orientation and centimeter-level position data delivered both in real-time and post-processing. With this direct geo-referencing technology, ground control points are no longer needed, and it also greatly reduces the need for overlapping.
