What RoboNation competition did you take part in, and how was your experience? I have participated annually in RoboSub since 2016. That year was not only my first year on the Underwater Robotics team, but also the team's first year at RoboSub. It has been a wonderful experience becoming more and more involved with the RoboSub and RoboNation community overthe past four years. Competition has been what I look forward to the most each summer — not just because it is held in sunny San Diego, California, but also because it is a fantastic learning experience. Although the teams are competing against each other, everyone tries to collaborate and build each other up. When we were struggling to get in the water back in 2016, there was no shortage of teams willing to lend us advice or spare parts. Now with a few years of experience, it feels great to be able to give back to the community by helping new teams with advice, training data, etc. I credit most of what I've learned in college to the work done preparing for and participating in RoboSub.
