摘要

Takanori Shibata is the chief senior research scientist at the Advanced Industrial Science and Technology's Human Informatics Research Institute in Japan, a visiting professor at Tokyo Institute of Technology and a visiting fellow at MIT's AgeLab. He's best known as the inventor of Paro, a robot seal used in therapy for the elderly and children with disabilities. Unmanned Systems caught up with Shibata at the Innorobo 2015 show in Lyon, France.
