Insitu announced that it has released the 2.0 version of its ICOMC2 small-footprint common command-and-con-trol system. The initial version was introduced in 2012 and allows a single operator to control multiple unmanned systems through an open-architecture design that can be customized. The 2.0 version includes a mission commander mode to increase situational awareness and which integrates with other command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems.
