Home team Oakland University collected enough points from the Intelligent Ground Vehicle Competition's multiple scoring categories to pull off an overall win, ending California State University North-ridge's two-year winning streak. The win also ensured the top honors would belong to the university that hosts the event, now in its 21st year. "It feels amazing," said team leader Kevin Hallenbeck after the win. "I've been working hard for four years, and the entire team pulled together and we pulled it off."
