How He got Interested in Unmanned Systems: I was in the military and flew the RQ-7B Shadow for the Army. What He learned From the Competition: I love how these competitions teach you how to work as a team. From having experience of being team captain, I've loved being able to help people to work together. One thing I have learned from these competitions is how important it is to test your system early and test it often. We needed to have more realistic tests in the beginning of the process to do well later on.
