Brock Technologies of Tucson, Ariz., says its new Havoc vehicle, developed under a series of U.S. Air Force Small Business Innovation Research grants, had a first flight on 24 Oct.The company then put two vehicles through their paces, carrying a variety of payloads aloft in test flights that continued into November. The twin-boom, pusher two-stroke engine Havoc platform gives users a robust, modular UAS capable of long endurance flights with a variety of payloads, the company says, and each vehicle ordered will be tailored to its user. President Jessica Brock says, "Ordering one is like building your own computer from a website."
