No aviation issue is more exciting right now than integrating unmanned aircraft systems into the National Airspace System. This includes the enhancements to the NAS being made by the Next Generation Air Transportation System, or NextGen, which will enable UAS integration to take place by addressing key issues such as trajectory-based operations, sense and avoid and lost link. That's why UAS integration into the NAS is a top priority for the NextGen Institute this year.
