Unmanned systems stand to become one of the greatest revolutions in warfare, akin to the impact that mechanization made to the combat early in the 20th century. These systems are changing everything, from the way militaries find and fight the enemy to how they perform maintenance and sustainment. We are now only at the beginning. As systems mature and new levels of autonomy are added, the air vehicles will provide more value for lower cost than existing systems.
