The idea of using unmanned vehicles to remove wounded soldiers from the battlefield isn't likely to translate soon to an operational system, at least in the United States.rnIsrael is several steps ahead and may be the first to field an unmanned casualty evacuation robot - Urban Aeronautics Ltd. Plans to move to untethered flights of its AirMule by the end of the year. The United States and other countries lag for several reasons, one of which is money.
