United Kingdom company Cubewano is introducing two new engines for small UAS, the Banshee 34, both in air- and liquid-cooled versions. The air-cooled version is targeted at fixed-wing aircraft, the liquid-cooled for hotter running vertical take-off and landing platforms. Both 4.8-horsepower engines run on heavy fuel. "We've been all heavy fuel for the last 18 months," says founder and managing director Craig Fletcher. Founded in December 2007 with Shaun Addy, Cubewano began as a start-up in Fletcher's garage.
