In an effort to open their territory, the Atlanta Chapter continues to plan an annual meeting to begin late next year.rnThe group also intends to find ways to provide better representation to members across Georgia, eastern Tennessee as well as some from North and South Carolina, group leaders say. To that end, the group planned to re-launch its Web site this month to provide improved communication and collaboration among the unmanned systems community in the area.rnYet, the most exciting news emanating from Georgia would be the immanent formation of an ISR (intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance) consortium directed by the Georgia Aerospace Innovation Center. As the primary reason to be for the Center, the Chapter hosted the inaugural meeting in late June, allowing some four dozen participants to lay plans for the consortium, which they plan to update during quarterly meetings of the Chapter.
