Chris currently serves as customer advocate for unmanned maritime vehicles. As customer advocate and a top-level program manager, Chris is accountable to Navy sponsors for execution of UUV and USV related technical work at NUWC Newport; and works to improve national collaboration across Navy Warfare Centers and participating organizations to bring UUV and USV capabilities to the U.S. Navy fleet.rnPrevious positions have included technical program manager for the submarine-hosted Mission Reconfigurable UUV system; project manager for the ONR Autonomous Operations Future Navy Capability Maritime Reconnaissance Demonstration UUV project; NUWC field representative at the PMS403 Unmanned Undersea Vehicle Program Office; TPM for UUV and Torpedo Propulsion Technology; Deputy U.S. national leader for The Technical Cooperation Program (TTCP) Technical Panel for Undersea Weapons and Countermeasure (TP-11); and Propulsion Technology Branch head. Chris has 25 years civil service with Division Newport and its predecessor organizations.
