The U.S. Air Force wanted to fly BAI's small Evolution UAV for surveillance, but instead it was forced to use their imaging capability in a curious way: one vehicle was duct-taped to a manned helicopter, another was mounted on a tripod and a third was put on the roof of a Hilton hotel. The systems discovered 15 fires that had gone undetected.
