UVS Canada's annual meeting was conducted Nov. 15-18, 2005, in Banff, Alberta. The theme of the third annual conference was Advancing Innovations & Partnerships and the program fullfilled the intentions of the meeting organizers. The conference began with workshop offerings. One involved unmanned aerial system (UAS) technical interoperability standards. A second workshop discussed how best to grow the unmanned vehicle system business base. The third workshop offering discussed global harmonization for UAS airspace access.
