UMUAI prefers papers to be submitted electronically since such papers can be forwarded to the reviewers without delay and in most cases be printed directly by the publisher from the author's source file (hardcopy submission to the above address is however also possible). In the reviewing stage, UMUAI prefers PDF, MS Word, RTF and Postscript but also accepts most other popular PC and Macintosh based formats (if in doubt, contact the editor for further information). For submission in LaTeX, Springer have developed a Springer LaTeX-class file, which can be downloaded from: http://www.Springeronline.com/authors/jrnlstylefiles. Springer encourages the use of LaTeX.
