The US Army Aviation Applied Technology Directorate (AATD) located at Ft. Eustis, Va. is a subordinate command within the Aviation and Missile Research, Development and Engineering Center (AMRDEC) of the Research, Development and Engineering Command (RDECOM), under the Army Materiel Command. AATD's mission is to transition technology that enhances and sustains Army aviation for the soldier. COL Steven Kihara is the Commander of AATD.
