摘要

The shielding effect against UV radiation of various types of nanoTiO_2 in polypropylene fibres with and without dispersants was investigated. The unmodified and modified PP fibres with the various types of nanoTiO_2 with and without dispersants were prepared. The UPF of unmodified and modified PP fibres was estimated using a modified method of the UPF evaluation of textile fabrics on the basis of measured transmittance through the model sample. The thermal characteristics of the unmodified and modified PP fibres were evaluated by DSC analysis, too.
