摘要

In this paper, the processing of polypropylene (PP)/organoclay (Cloisite) in the spinning and selected properties of PP/Cloisite nanocomposite fibres are presented. The processing in the spinning was estimated on the basis of the rheological properties of the PP and PP nanocomposites as well as the geometric (external) and structural (internal) non-uniformity of the nanocomposite fibres. The effects of the nanofiller and compatibilisers on the rheological parameters of the concentrated dispersions in the PP as well as on the non-uniformity and mechanical properties of the polypropylene nanocomposite fibres are discussed in the paper as well.
