For the 2011-2020 period, Forecast International is projecting an undersea warfare market with a total value of $10,786 million, a fall of 2.4 percent from the 2010 total of $ 11,056 million. In numbers of units, this year's edition projects production of 28,701 systems, an increase of 2.8 percent from last year's forecast of 27,913 individual systems. Thus, the situation in the 2010-2019 edition of this survey where value increased but unit numbers fell has been reversed.
