摘要

The objective of the work presented in this paper was to investigate the feasibility of using MBP-waste as re-cultivation material for a vegetative landfill cover. For this purpose literature data was used to characterize the hydraulic behaviour of MBP waste. The LAI of different fast-growing trees was measured as the crucial parameter for evapotranspiration calculations. The computer simulation model HYDRUS-1D was employed to calculate the flux of seepage water leaving the landfill cover.
