Randy Strebig, SPA's Regional Director for Indiana who also serves as president of the Indiana Seaplane Pilots Association (ISPA), reports that a new public landing site for seaplanes has been approved on the Cedarville Reservoir in Leo-Cedarville just north of Fort Wayne in northeastern Indiana.The site is designated as IN4, Cedarville Reservoir Seaplane Base. The elevation of the reservoir is 781 feet, and the water runway orientation is 03-21. There are no facilities on the lake.ISPA has been working hard to open up more Indiana waterways, and today nearly 40 lakes and reservoirs are open to seaplane operations.
