Every so often, an especially memorable day of flying comes along, and I recently had one of these while making a flight from Juneau to Anchorage in the Gweduck. The Ellison-Mahon crew was bringing the airplane up from Seattle for the Alaska Airmen's trade show in May, and I joined them on the last leg of the trip. A long seaplane trip has just as much potential to be a nuisance as it does to be a great adventure, and you can't tell how it's going to play out until you embark on the journey. This one took a while to come together.
