Rising Sun, a small, historic town in southern Indiana on the north shore of the Ohio River southwest of Cincinnati, marks its bicentennial in 2014, and this summer, as part of the celebration, held its first-ever splash-in. The event showcased Rising Sun's new charted seaplane base, home of Mac's Seaplane Service.
