Since I started flying the Beaver commercially in the summer of '08 I've learned some operational things that anyone who wants to chase this dream will have to learn as well. First, no matter how hard you try, someone will not appreciate seaplanes as much as you and your passengers. Those folks will rarely get in touch with you directly to give you an opportunity to help the situation.
