He flew all winter, and in the spring I lent him a set of Edo 1320s and a prop, and he flew nearly 100 hours on floats. Back on wheels and skis in the fall and winter, he built up more hours, and in the spring he earned his instrument rating, Commercial certificate, and his mul-tiengine land and sea ratings and also completed college.
