A look at the Ohio listings in the new Water Landing Directory (see following story) shows a dearth of waters accessible to seaplanes.Many Ohio lakes are controlled by the not-so-seaplane-friendly U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.rnThat hasn't slowed Richard Belford, at Belford Seaplane Base in Westerville, Ohio. He's been hard at work aggressively promoting seaplane training throughout the area. Richard says the school has so much business they now need additional aircraft! He's appealing to SPA member seaplane owners to consider an elegant business solution that may benefit both parties.
