Apassenger gets off the Beaver in Victoria B. C. He and his wife have come all the way from Australia this day, and I have flown them up from Seattle's Lake Union on their last leg. It has been a sparkling sunshine trip from Puget Sound across the Strait of Juan de Fuca down into Victoria's inner harbor. As we walk toward immigration and customs he says to me what I have heard so very many times: "You have the best job in the world."
