The meeting commenced with a workshop on Friday, February 1 that reviewed a cross-Canada practice of land/watershed management. This was instituted to help identify best practices that could be utilized in other parts of the country.rnThe Mid-Term Directors' Meeting was well attended with a new format for board meetings adopted and utilized on an experimental basis at this meeting.rnA policy and procedures manual was developed and presented in draft form at the Board of Directors for review. This manual is in a preliminary form and encompasses all of the pre-existing policies and procedures that have been developed over a number of years. There is an attempt being made to reformat the various policies and procedures to fit a consistent template which will make recognition of the various items easier.
