This paper provides a process/methodology forrnpredicting mass properties for a productionrnprogram. The ANSA/AAIA S-120A Standard (Referencern#1) is highly recommended for developmental articlesrnand may be too conservative for production programs.rnThe S-120A Standard addresses mass predictionsrnusing growth as primary criteria for predicting mass.rnThis paper eliminates growth which uses the GrowthrnDepletion Schedules (see Table 1 for an example),rnand introduces mass bias (MB) which is based on thernstatistical diff erences between the predicted mass andrnits fi nal Tested and Guaranteed (TAG) values over arnhistory of vehicles.
