Catchment management is increasingly seen as a win-win for water companies and the environment alike. With the new Water Framework Directive set to place greater protection on rivers and wetlands across Europe, and totex-based regulation paving the way for greener, smarter solutions to cleaner water supply, there has never been a greater incentive for water companies to work with agricultural and other stakeholders to minimise run-off pollution and ensure key players in the catchment are working together.
