The world-wide increasing use of photovoltaic (PV) systems for supplying electricity, requires the develop- ment of suitable DC high frequency ballasts for FL. Many DC ballast show problems that reduce the performance Of lights for PV systems. In this work we present the result Of measurements of luminous flux, luminous efficiency, Lamp power consumption, luminous efficacy, lumen Maintenance, durability, waveshape and effect of the bat- Teries state of charge for 22 models (four samples per Model) of PV lights with FL and DC ballast.
