Helping a customer over the phone can be frustrating because users of-ten don't have the skills to provide details efficiently, and worse, sometimes can't follow instructions. Fortunately, you can concentrate your caller's attention to the DirectX Diagnostic Tool, which provides critical system information in addition to being an effective multimedia troubleshooting tool. To ensure you get the right information fast, we'll: 1. Examine DirectX so you can identify when the tool is suitable for specific problems. 2. Run the DirectX Diagnostic Tool and identify its most useful components. 3. Identify methods for getting accurate system-wide information from a user.

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya pencapaian fault-free performance pembelajaran troubleshooting sistem pesawat udara mahasiswa program Diploma III Program Studi Teknik Pesawat Udara (Prodi TPU) Sekolah Tinggi Penerbangan Indonesia, Curug Tangerang. Sebagai pembelajaran yang bertujuan memberikan pengalaman belajar melakukan langkah – langkah kritikal dalam troubleshooting sistem pesawat udara dengan benar dan tanpa kegagalan yang dipandu oleh modul, pembelajaran ini dipengaruhi oleh faktor kesiapan simulator, kesiapan mahasiswa dan efektifitas modul. Studi pendahuluan memperlihatkan penyebab rendahnya pencapaian tersebut adalah tidak efektifnya modul dalam mengarahkan mahasiswa untuk melakukan troubleshooting dengan benar dan tanpa kegagalan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kondisi pembelajaran troubleshooting saat ini, mendesain modul belajar yang mampu meningkatkan fault-free performance, membuat langkah – langkah implementasinya dalam pembelajaran, membuat suatu bentuk penilaian fault-free performance dan menganalisis dampak penggunaan modul belajar. Dengan menggunakan metodologi Research and Development, penelitian dilakukan terhadap 56 mahasiswa Diploma III TPU Angkatan ke-11 melalui tiga tahap utama penelitian yaitu studi pendahuluan, tahap perencanaan dan penyusunan modul serta tahap pengembangan dan ujicoba modul sampai ditemukannya modul yang efektif meningkatkan fault-free performance sebagai hasil uji coba lebih luas. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara terhadap dosen, studi dokumentasi pada dokumen kurikulum dan modul, kuesioner kepada mahasiswa, tes hasil belajar dan observasi praktik. Temuan penelitian adalah suatu modul pembelajaran yang efektif meningkatkan fault-free performance diperlihatkan dengan perhitungan statistik t-hitung ≥ t-tabel pada uji terbatas dan lebih luas serta peningkatan nilai rata – rata pada setiap tahap uji coba. Peningkatan tersebut mengindikasikan pengembangan konten modul baru memiliki dampak signifikan dan efektif terhadap meningkatnya pencapaian fault-free performance melalui peningkatan pencapaian sub – sub kompetensi dalam troubleshooting yaitu mengidentifikasi kerusakan, menentukan tingkat kerusakan, mengeliminasi kerusakan dan memperbaiki atau mengganti suku cadang.
