As IT support, you're constantly barraged with user and management requests to make nation and worldwide collaboration easy, less expensive, and more reliable, but tools are costly. With Internet Printing Protocol (IPP), a free, secure feature from Microsoft, you can save time and money when your users seamlessly print to machines around the world. To prepare users to print around the world, we'll: 1. Review how to set up a print server. 2. Configure IIS to control access to the print server using both authentication and IP address restrictions. 3. Demonstrate two methods for establishing connections to the print server. 4. Maintain your printer from any internet-accessible PC.
