The Grampaw Pettibone Squadron continues to be challenged by the face-to-face restrictions created as a result of the Covid crisis. We have been holding online monthly Zoom presentations as speakers are identified. While attendance is down, participation included attendance from across the country. We are determined to offer programs in this manner, until we can return to face-to face meetings. The January 2021 program began with a video presentation by Captain Mike Rabens USN (Ret) followed by an in-person talk from Captain Tom Uhl USN (Ret). Mike retired as a Captain, having served in the Navy from 1979 - 2004. From 1981 - 2004, Mike flew the Grumman swing-wing F-14 Tomcat fighter. His talk was based on his experience both from operational units, as well as experience in Naval Test Pilot Programs.
