摘要

We propose a mathematical model of multi-pass wire drawing as the basis of a solution for the boundary problem of non-isothermal deformation of viscous-plastic, non-compressible material. An analysis of the specific conditions of drawing of steel wire, grade D75, in six passes has proven that as a result applying hydrodynamic conditions of friction, a 20 percent decrease of the non-uniformity of a strain can be achieved. The draw force required also diminishes by about 20-30 percent when compared to the conventional condition of friction; and wire temperature also decreases by about 20-25 percent.
