The 1990s have shaped a new trend in the furniture industry. The paradox of reducing costs and batches while improving quality and shrinking lead times is the challenge of the decade, as it will be standard operating procedure for the most successful companies of the 21st century. The evolution of CNC technologies, fueled by increased customer demands, have served to completely re-engineer the production process. Pioneer Electronics Technology, in Pomona, Calif., recognized the opportunities of a completely re-engineered production process and accepted the challenge.
