Navigatrix is a 33′7″yawl designed by K. Aage Nielsen and built by Paul E. Luke of East Booth-bay, Maine, in 1957. While she's enjoyed careful stewardship for over five decades, her bow pulpit was beginning to show its age last season, with cracks on either side of its top rail. This pulpit was likely a replacement of the original, since it was of stainless steel and sat in sockets of mismatched bronze, and appears to have been persuaded into place with an awkward bend in the profile of its forward post.
