For some time I have been perplexed by a vague feeling that something is missing from the pages of our favorite boating periodical. That something is an advice column, an Ann Landers of wooden boats. I have just completed a mail survey of a few friends, asking them to jot down some of their problems and concerns encountered in the boating world. I was inundated by five or six responses, some of which I will share with you in the form of an advice column Q and A.
