Chesapeake Technology Inc. (CTI), a world leader in real-time acquisition and GIS-based processing software for seafloor mapping has introduced a new version of its SonarWiz software. SonarWiz 5 provides users at all levels more intuitive features, total control over desktop layout, new reports and new Mosaic export formats.rnThe sleek new interface in SonarWiz 5 has configurable windows that allow users to layout their desktop with only the information and data they want to display. Background maps, DTM's and image layers now have true color to maintain total GIS end product fidelity. New saturation, contrast, hue, brightness controls allow greatly improved display of the processed data making side scan sonar mosaics, and sub-bottom profiler data even more dynamic.
