The Copyright Office on October 6 began its fourth triennial inquiry to determine whether there are classes of works that should be exempted from the Digital Millennium Copyright Act's prohibition against circumvention of technological measures that control access to copyrighted works.rnComments proposing exempt classes of works are due December 2, and the proposed classes of work will be published for comment that same month, with hearings to be held in the Spring of 2009.
