This paper probes into the path of comprehending Zen in contemporary image oil painting. There are three aspects, namely, “letting it be, freedom” that indicates Zen wisdom, “determinedness, one principle running through all things”that displays Zen quintessence,“variation, breakthrough”that implies Zen atmosphere.%探讨了当代意象油画中禅意的获得途径，包括三个方面，即“随缘”、“自由”--禅的智慧；“果敢、一以贯之”--禅的精髓；“变化”、“突破”--禅的气象。
