MAPS is a "what if?" novel that explores young adults' reactions to their unexpected transfer to a parallel world and their forced participation in a power play between higher-plane beings.;This ensemble story is revealed in an after-the-fact report, compiled by Council of Graces member Lars Steelfounder and addressed to the Council's Director. Lars and his investigative team have interviewed other characters and transcribed their words into his report, with the majority of the chapter sub-sections centered on the testimonies of the story's three primary protagonists: Andrew Curry, Bea Roberts, and Sondra Tern.;This Young Adult Fantasy novel involves magic and Earthlike parallel universes. It contributes to its genre by providing entertainment that will not worry parents, because it is free of top-tier swear words, sex scenes, and gore. It does contain familial love, intrigue, romance, betrayal, comedic situations, and the loss of a valued team member.
